Fuss over making Tiramisu and feeling it’s expensive? Let us make everything easy, and delicious for you. A decadent eggless tiramisu with homemade ladyfinger biscuits and mascarpone cheese is here.

What exactly is tiramisu?
“Tiramisu is a coffee-flavored Italian dessert. It is made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar and mascarpone cheese, flavored with cocoa.”
I have a slightly different variety here. It’s quick and eggless. You can make it anytime fresh or refrigerate it.
The recipe can use store-bought mascarpone and ladyfingers, but it’s much more economical and tastier to make your own.
Ingredients that you need
Mascarpone Cheese — 150grams
Whipped Cream/ Heavy Cream — 110grams (cold)
Sugar — 50grams
Strong espresso coffee — 1 cup, cooled
Ladyfinger biscuits — 1 packet
(you can use digestive biscuits or Parle G, but they are not as good. Alternatively, you can make your own biscuit)

Take a cold bowl, add some cold heavy/whipped cream. Start mixing the cream with a hand mixer for 7-8 minutes until the cream has soft peaks. Now add sugar and keep mixing it further until you have stiff peaks on the whipped cream. Remember the consistency should be so stiff that you should be able to turn the bowl upside down without dropping any cream from it. Once creamed, add in your mascarpone cheese. Continue to whip the cream and cheese until everything is incorporated well.
Tip — If it is not creaming, try putting your whisk bowl and cream in the fridge for a while before trying again.
To prep the biscuits for tiramisu start with greasing a square pan lightly with butter. Pan could be approximately of 6×6 size. Take biscuits, dip them entirely in coffee for 4-5 seconds, remove it and lay it on the clean sheet. You can also use butter paper. Slowly do it one by one and create a layer of biscuits soaked in coffee. Pour around half of the cream over the biscuit layer and smooth it out. Similarly, add another layer of biscuits soaked in coffee and another layer of cream. If you have more cream and biscuits left you can create more layers, but 2 layers are enough as well. Smooth out the top layer of cream and sieve some cocoa powder over it, along with chocolate shavings/chips. Now refrigerate it for an hour or so. It gives it more taste but you can serve it directly as well.
Viola! Your tiramisu is ready in just 2 simple steps. This is an easy dish for anytime cravings and midnight birthday celebrations as well. So, next time surprise your loved ones with this sweet present or you can just try it yourself and eat it whole.
