Black Sesame Brownies

The struggle is real when you are craving for mouth-watering brownies. Black sesame brownies are loaded with richness of almond milk, tahini, black sesame, and coca. All ingredients in just the perfect amount compliment the taste of each other, coca + sesame + tahini. They are super easy to bake and perfectly healthy to eat.

The best part about these brownies is that they are vegan and gluten-free. You can serve them warm straight from the oven or refrigerate it until it cools down. You can eat them alone for dessert, or add them alongside any ice cream or milkshake and you have a lavish dessert on the table.

Ingredients you need

Black sesame – 1&½ cup
Vegetable oil – 2 tablespoon
Flour/ oat flour – 1&¼ cup
Coca power – ¼ cup
Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
Milk/ almond milk – ¾ cup
Sugar – 1 cup

To make fresh tahini, take a pan, heat it a little. Toast the sesame seeds and let it heat for 4 to 5 minutes on medium flame. Wait till they slowly release the oil. Blitz the seeds well in the blender. Add vegetable oil to it. Consistency should that of running liquid paste, your tahini is done.

Once the paste is ready add sugar and blend it again until the sugar dissolves in the paste.

Transfer the paste into the bowl. Add the milk of your choice (almond milk/milk) and keep stirring it until you have a well-incorporated liquid. Add all dry ingredients, flour, cocoa powder, and lastly baking powder. Fold until you have a moist dough. If you feel your dough is dry, you can add more milk to it. Your dough shouldn’t be too soft or too hard in texture.

Tasty brownies are ready to bake, you can mix caramel and chocolate chips as add-ons to the recipe. Take a baking dish, grease it with a few drops of oil. Now transfer the mixture into that baking dish, it is best if its size is approximately 9×9. Spread it a bit evenly. Bake at 180°C for 17 minutes. Garnish it with sesame seeds when they are hot.
